Dodgers

On our way to 81 and 0 at home

So the Dodgers are still undefeated at home. 12 - 0, tying a major league record set back in 1911.

Here's my quick 1 month report card of the starting lineup:

  1. Furcal - He's warm but not hot yet, healthy and defensively sound as usual.
  2. Hudson - GM Coletti should be arrested for stealing this guy from all MLB teams this off season. O-dog, you have exceeded my expectations and you are an absolute joy to watch.
  3. M-a-n-n-y - In a slump right now (.360 BA) C'mon Manny pick it up will ya.
  4. Either - Has arrived! More patience at the plate is contribting to some excellent pitches to hit a very long way. But Andre, let Kemp take those balls in the gap.
  5. Loney - solid all-around, kinda gets lost in the mix. Will win his first gold glove at first this year.
  6. Martin - A sloooow start for my Man Russell, needs to bring back the fire but I have no doubt it's coming as evident of his performance of the game I was at (3 hits, stolen base and threw out a baserunner)
  7. Kemp - Ok, I still don't like his swagger but he is improving everyday and can get to practically anything in the outfield.
  8. Blake - Solid defense, feast or famine at the plate with 5 hrs but a sub .230 BA. Gotta like Blake's intensity though and that average will climb to it's usual .270
Pitching break-down to come....
